Your responsibilities

  • Model Development: Crafting conceptual, logical, and physical data models to ensure smooth data integration and flow across the organization.
  • Data Dictionary Preparation: Preparing inputs for tools like Collibra to maintain a comprehensive data catalog.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitating discussions with business stakeholders to ensure that data models reflect organizational needs.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Educating client employees in data modeling practices, empowering them to effectively handle enterprise data.
  • Tool Utilization: Utilizing industry-standard tools such as Sparx and Erwin to create precise data diagrams.
  • Master Data Management and Governance: Possessing a strong understanding of master data management and data governance principles.
  • Information Gathering: Organizing sessions with domain owners to collect information necessary for robust model building.
  • Design Rules Implementation: Establishing design rules based on best practices and experience to ensure modeling consistency and efficiency.
  • Presentation Preparation: Developing presentations to describe the purpose and goals of data modeling efforts, enhancing stakeholder understanding and buy-in.
  • This role aims to develop a sustainable data architecture framework that enhances data consistency, accuracy, and governance. The Data Architect's external expertise not only improves the client's current data strategy but also equips their team to tackle future data challenges and seize opportunities effectively.
