We are seeking a proactive and skilled Asset Servicing Intermediate Analyst to join our team. This role demands a blend of independent problem-solving and deep industry knowledge, where your analytical prowess and professional judgment will directly contribute to team objectives and critical business operations. Excellent communication and a sharp analytical mind are key to succeeding in this impactful position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Provide daily oversight and coordination of operational activities, ensuring smooth workflows, adherence to deadlines, and accurate completion of checklists for compliance and efficient task management.
- Reconciliation & Claims Management: Oversee timely identification and resolution of cash breaks, reconciliation discrepancies, and efficient income claims management.
- Communication & Escalation: Manage team communication channels, including email flow for prompt responses and efficient task assignment, and serve as the first point of escalation for complex or sensitive inquiries.
- Process Optimization & Client Solutions: Develop client-specific solutions, maintain quality control, and continuously identify and implement process improvements to reduce manual touchpoints and enhance efficiency.
- Risk, Compliance & Quality: Minimize risk to the bank by strictly adhering to procedural requirements, audit policies, and actively participating in compliance and control activities. Appropriately assess risk in all business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup's reputation and assets. Maintain rigorous quality control standards across all processes.
- Team Collaboration & Support: Collaborate with peers and product teams on innovative solutions and system testing. Provide essential support and backup coverage to the team, and serve as the primary escalation point for complex email queries.
- Delegated Managerial Responsibilities: Assume delegated non-HR managerial responsibilities as required, including operational decision-making, project oversight, and representing the manager in meetings.
- System & Product Awareness: Participate in system testing initiatives, providing valuable input, and maintain current awareness of product changes and system enhancements.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in asset servicing operations or a related financial services role in the capital market (eg. fund accounting, securities services etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of securities processing, combined with a solid understanding of the industry standards and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy, capable of exchanging potentially complex/sensitive information with various stakeholders.
- Possesses latitude to resolve complex issues related to the analysis of hedge fund activities and operational discrepancies.
- Supervisor experience is an advantage, but not a must
- Advanced English
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
