The Opportunity
:

We are looking to hire a SW Engineer (Full Stack) - AI Service Engineering to join the Cyber Analytics & AI Innovations team in Visa. You as a Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting cutting edge AI innovations in cybersecurity. You should be an engineer at heart, possessing software engineering skills, allowing to lead teams that build some of the most critical and marquee products in the entire company. You will build enterprise-level AI solutions with AI autonomous agents, deep neural networks, large language models, GPUs, and big data platforms.

The Work itself:

• Design code and systems that influence Visa's internal standards for scalability, security, and reusability.
• Collaborate multi-functionally to create design artifacts and develop best-in-class software solutions for Visa's technical offerings.

Essential Functions:

• Demonstrates relevant technical working knowledge to understand requirements.
• Identifies and contributes to the development and solution strategies to team members that improve the design and functionality of interface features across one or more project features, under minimal guidance.
• Applies standard processes on the use of programming languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript / , Go, Python / Flask, HTM) to write code that fulfills modification requests and technical requirements.
• Collaborates with others to support the piloting of new technology capabilities and features.
• Analyzes bugs for simple issues and applies debugging tools to verify assumptions.

**We do not expect that any single candidate would fulfill all of these characteristics. For instance, we have exciting team members who are really focused on building scalable systems but didn't work with payments technology or web applications before joining Visa

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience

•Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science, Information Systems or related field AND minimum two (2) years of experience in a directly related field, OR Master's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.

•Programming Languages: Knowledge and ability to develop front-end code (JavaScript / , HTML, CSS) and back-end code (Go, Python) in support of package and product development.

•API and Microservices development: The ability to develop and apply Application Program Interfaces (APIs), a set of routines, protocols, and tools for building software applications that specify how software components should interact and are used when programming graphical user.

•Knowledge and working experience on Git, Jenkins and Jira.

•Application development and Linux infrastructure experience.

•Web Browser Optimization: The ability to select the 'best available' values of some objective function to improve the functional effectiveness of web browsers.

•User Interface Design: Knowledge of user interface design, which is the interaction where users and computers interact. This includes an understanding of how to provide an optimal industrial design experience through User Interface (UI) Design.
