As a Technical Support Engineer, you will work closely with our sales team and key partners—including installers, wholesalers, and distributors—to provide expert product recommendations, resolve technical issues, and deliver engaging training sessions. Your role will be central to ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting the success of our product portfolio.
On a day-to-day basis, you will handle technical queries across the Resideo product range, deliver product training to partners, contribute to the creation of technical documentation and support warranty claims.
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer with a strong engineering background and proven experience in technical product support. Fluency in Polish and proficiency in English within a technical environment are essential, along with excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
JOB DUTIES:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and propose the most effective technical solutions for customer projects
- Assist wholesalers and partners in selecting the appropriate products for new installations and developments
- Deliver regular technical and system training sessions for wholesalers, partners, customers, and sales team members
- Act as a link between product management and sales by sharing technical case studies and introducing new system solutions
- Manage and update the e-catalogue, application guides, and installation manuals
- Proofread and, when needed, translate technical and commercial materials such as videos, operating guides, installation instructions, technical specifications, websites, smartphone apps, and marketing leaflets
- Supervise and monitor Resideo' s contracted service companies
- Prepare maintenance and commissioning procedures and guidelines for service companies
- Follow up on quality issues and report findings to quality engineers and product managers
- Provide technical support to installers and wholesalers via phone and email
- Analyse and report frequently asked technical questions related to trade products.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Proven experience in product technical support, within an mechanical engineering or manufacturing environment (not IT technical support)
- Fluency in Polish and advanced English within a technical environment
- Strong computer literacy, including advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communion skills
WE VALUE:
- Experience with HVAC products
- Familiarity with the specification process, or exposure to specification software such as Instalsoft or Sancom
- Strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to provide cost-effective, practical technical solutions
- Prior experience delivering product training
