Job Overview
The Global Process Owner (GPO) for Order to Cash (OTC) supports the Global Delivery Leader (GDL) in driving operational excellence across the OTC value chain.
While the GDL sets the
strategic direction, priorities, and performance targets
, the GPO ensures these are
translated into consistent, standardized, and well-controlled operational practices
across global delivery teams and regions.
This role acts as the
implementation partner
— enabling process adoption, ensuring compliance, and fostering continuous improvement in support of the GDL's strategic roadmap.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Partnering on Strategy Execution
- Work closely with the GDL to understand the OTC strategy and translate priorities into executable processes.
- Collaborate with GDL in deployment planning, stakeholder alignment, and project tracking, ensuring operational readiness for process changes.
- Provide input and insights from delivery teams to GDL, to help refine strategies and prioritize improvements.
Process Standardization & Documentation
- Under the guidance of the GDL, prepare, update and maintain global OTC process documentation, SOPs, and control frameworks.
- Ensure regional and BPO teams are aligned to globally defined standards set by the GDL, and any approved variations are documented.
Operationalization & Enablement
- Support the GDL by embedding process designs into day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth handoffs and consistent execution.
- Assist GDL with training, change management, and knowledge-sharing to enable sustainable adoption of new tools or practices.
- Partner with technology teams to implement automation and analytics initiatives as directed by the GDL.
Monitoring, Feedback & Continuous Improvement
- Track performance metrics (e.g., DSO, on-time billing, dispute resolution) and share insights with the GDL to support data-driven decision-making and presentations.
- Establish root cause analyses and continuous improvement actions that align with the strategic goals defined by the GDL.
- Help ensure local teams are accountable for meeting performance targets and adopting corrective actions.
Governance & Compliance Support
- Collaborate with the GDL to embed SOX and internal control requirements in all OTC processes.
- Ensure documentation, testing evidence, and audit readiness activities are operationalized across regions.
- Partner with the GDL and Internal Controls team on remediation and control improvement plans.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's in Finance, Business, or Accounting; Professional certification (CPA, CA, Lean or Six Sigma preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in OTC or Shared Services, with exposure to global operations and process transformation.
- Proven experience in process implementation, standardization, and control frameworks.
- Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of OTC systems, automation, and analytics tools (e.g., RPA, AI/NLP).
