Tasks

• Define project level functional and non-functional test approaches.
• Define, manage, and maintain regression test pack
• Provide functional test input into the Automation Framework and ensure test automation is used effectively to minimise test cycle timescales while maintaining high quality standards.
• Ensure testing enables development projects to be delivered on time, meet business requirements, and fulfil end-user requirements.
• Assist with identifying and resolving systems issues.
• Input into overall performance and NFR testing
• Produce project test estimates and work closely with the Project Manager to ensure project work is delivered to required timescales and quality levels.
• Work alongside business analysts, scrum master's and project managers to understand business goals/drivers and deliver testing artefacts to the required timescales.
• Provide regular reports to test management to demonstrate progress of the test function.
• Provide test completion certification to move into Release process.
• Participate in project meetings with business and technical stakeholders to understand and deliver projects.
• Ensure all testing follows the defined test process and provide input and updates for improvements where needed

Requirements

• Highly experienced tester (min 5 years) with excellent communication skills
• Hands on experience of end-to-end testing within a complex environment across multiple applications
• Expert at creating test scenarios and test cases from business requirements
• Analysis of design and other documents for testability
• Experience of testing graph database management systems (GDBMS)
• Strong, theoretical, and practical knowledge of API and Database testing
• Hands on Testing experience and willingness to undertake manual and automation testing.
• Highly proficient at using Jira and Zephyr test tooling
• Experience of using at least one of the following tools: Postman/SoapUI/Insomnia
• Identification of test entry and exit criteria
• Good experience of test planning, reporting, co-ordination, and execution of all test activities
• Defect management and remediation activities including leading triage sessions for project specific bugs
• Good stakeholder engagement experience
• Positive team player working as part of a large programme
• Experience working within a globally distributed organisation
• ISTQB foundation level

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience within Identity and Access Management, Privilege Access, Secrets Management tools, Access and Identity Management systems including AD/ADLDS
• Any exposure to SailPoint IdentityIQ, Identity warehousing, and working with protocols and formats for data ingestion such as SCIM, REST API, LDAP, OIDC and CSV
• Experience of testing on both on and off premises test environments
• Experience of automation testing tools including Jenkins, Maven, Junit Jupiter, Selenium, and Selenium WebDriver
• A working knowledge of Java.
• ISTQB intermediate and above
• ServiceNow, AD, AWS, Azure integrations
• Testing functions and decision points "As Code", such as Policy as code
• API Testing, API Gateway testing, Batch ETL testing
• Pub Sub and MQ
• GCP (Cloud) testing approaches and methodology.
