Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Business Applications Support Senior Specialist to join our Business Optimization and Technology Adoption Team within the Alternatives Department.  Alternative Business Optimization and Technology Adoption Team is a group of curious, creative, and tech-savvy Subject Matter Experts. Team supports end-users across multiple locations and collaborate with experts from Systems, Product and Production.

Team is seeking a proactive and collaborative Business Applications Support Senior Specialist to provide first-level support across core business applications such as eFront, Unity, and provide automatic solutions via emerging tools like Smart Data Capture, Alteryx. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a cross-functional environment, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about improving user experience and operational efficiency.

Some of your key responsibilities include:  

• Develop and maintain familiarity as a Subject Matter Expertise with eFront or Unity
• Troubleshoot and act as a 1st level support for end-users' level support across core applications eFront or Unity
• Support report writing
• Participate in system and user acceptance testing
• Provide application training to end users
• Create and maintain application documentation and best practice guidelines
• Contribute ideas and solutions to the Business Lead for applications enhancements'
• Learn and apply existing and emerging technology solutions like Smart Data Capture, Alteryx, CoPilot to provide simplification, standardization and automation aiming scalability and risk reduction
• Collaborate and show a cross-functional approach. Keep close alignment between Business stakeholders, Systems and Product Teams

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, economics, information technology, or a related discipline
• 2+ years of equivalent work experience or relevant business background
• Experience or knowledge in accounting & financial services required
• Technical proficiency in Excel MS Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English
• Creative and effective problem solving and analytical skill
• Consistent attention to details
• Flexibility, adaptability and willingness to learn new

Qualifications bring advantage:

• Familiarity with eFront or Unity
• Familiarity with Jira
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical colleagues
• Knowledge of Python, VBA, Alteryx, Smart Data Capture
