We are looking for a System Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to an exciting project in the automotive industry. The role involves end-to-end design and development of complex automotive systems. You will define system architecture, ensure requirements traceability, interface with stakeholders, and support integration, testing, and validation to deliver high-performance, compliant vehicle systems.

By joining us, you become a member of the Embedded Competence Center at Sii is an internal organizational unit, bringing together more than 500 specialists nationwide We are currently working on about 100 projects for 50 clients from various industries, including automotive, IoT, telecommunications, and medical.

*Your tasks*

  • Define and document system architecture and interfaces for embedded automotive systems
  • Capture and manage system requirements using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools
  • Work closely with domain experts, software developers, and validation engineers
  • Support system integration, verification, and validation at component, system, and vehicle levels
  • Collaborate with global teams and support cross-functional development activities

Requirements

  • Min. 3 years of experience in Systems Modeling (MBSE)
  • Proficiency in requirements management tools (DOORS, Polarion)
  • Familiarity with the Enterprise Architect tool
  • Experience in analysing and documenting system requirements
  • Knowledge of CAN and other communication protocols
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Readiness to work from the client's office in Wrocław twice a month

Nice to have

  • Experience in the automotive industry or with heavy machinery
  • Previous work with standards and machinery directives
  • Expertise in model-based development and simulation tools (e.g., Simulink, Stateflow)
