This role is within the EDS segment, and you will be joining that segment as it becomes its own entity, with a rich heritage and proven track record as a global leader in low and high voltage power and signal distribution systems. As Accounting Supervisor you will be a key person in Corporate Finance Team focusing on controlling accounting activities and Statutory Financial Statements preparation, participating in Statutory Audits, complying with local accounting laws and US GAAP. We are looking for a proactive and experienced professional with problem solving attitude, curiosity and passion for results.

Your Role

  • Oversee a daily finance/accounting activities including month/quarter/year closings for designated entities.
  • Preparing and reviewing Statutory Financial Statements for in-scope entities.
  • Collecting and preparing documentation for the statutory auditors as part of audits of financial statements.
  • Preparation of the calculation of the provision for income tax and deferred tax.
  • Preparing information and details of transactions for the purposes of transfer pricing documentation.
  • Oversight of the local chart of accounts to ensure compliance with local laws and internal requirements.
  • Coordinate a small team of Financial Analysts.

Your Background

  • Strong expertise in accounting
  • +5 years of experience in Finance/Accounting
  • Experience, knowledge and ability to independently perform tasks in this role – especially Statutory Financial Statements preparation
  • Sound knowledge of English
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel), SAP
  • Proven strengths in interpersonal relations and communication
  • Independence, time management, curiosity
  • Analytical mind, decision making skills
