Expert R&D – Biological Analysis Laboratory

Responsibilities

  • Performing biological analyses, including maintenance and cultivation of adherent and suspension cells.
  • Designing, conducting, and interpreting R&D experiments providing scientific support to projects development.
  • Performing in vitro PK/PD studies in accordance with client requirements, material specifications, and applicable quality procedures.
  • Developing new analytical and research methods.
  • Preparing samples, operating, and overseeing analytical and control-measurement instrumentation.
  • Developing, validating, and verifying analytical methods.
  • Preparing study plans based on literature review and other available scientific data; conducting and/or participating in laboratory studies.
  • Documenting results and maintaining records in compliance with the company's quality management system.

Requirements

  • PhD degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory Science or Biology.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working with cell culture.
  • Practical knowledge of culturing adherent cells, suspension, and organoid cultures.
  • Experience in conducting in vitro PK/PD research.
  • Ability to perform microscopic evaluation of cells.
  • Knowledge of molecular biology and biophysical techniques, including flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry, and ELISA.
  • Experience in developing and validating/verifying analytical methods.
  • Ability to search, review, and interpret scientific literature.
  • Skills in planning research R&D.
  • English (C2 level or higher) sufficient for reviewing and analyzing scientific literature.
  • High accuracy and reliability in performing own tasks.
  • Initiative in taking on new research challenges.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in cell and subcellular compartment imaging.
  • Experience working within a quality management system.
  • Knowledge of ISO 17025 or GLP.
