Location: Warsaw, Poland
An exciting opportunity is now available within our IT function. We are looking for a strong, confident, and talented IT Infrastructure expert to design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure.

The primary purpose of this position is to implement, and maintain IT infrastructure (servers, storage, virtualization, OS) of Mindray in Europe. The main activities of this position, reporting to the IT & IS Director Europe, will be research, install, configure, manage, and troubleshoot, serving businesses, assisting peers, and service providers. In addition, this position will support the planning and implementation of upcoming projects.
Critical for us is your character, we are looking for a hands-on expert, able to withstand challenge from other departments, always ensuring that the correct procedures are maintained and followed although with inspirational leadership skills.

Your Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade, optimize, and improve current server, storage, virtualization, network, and OS infrastructure for Mindray Europe businesses.
  • Lead infrastructure projects such as network upgrades, hardware decommissioning, and security hardening initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for complex infrastructure issues.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation the server, storage, virtualization, network, and OS infrastructure for Mindray Europe businesses.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of information security, backup, replication, business continuity, and disaster recovery solutions for Mindray Europe businesses.
  • Collaborate with the IT Headquarters team to diagnose, troubleshoot, resolve, and document operational issues.
  • Effectively provide 3rd level support for workspace, Windows, file, and print services for Mindray Europe users.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of local, regional, and global projects.
  • Ensure adherence to global standards and compliance.

What are we looking for in you?

  • Several years of experience in the following technologies and activities:

  • Windows Server administration

  • Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory administration

  • Microsoft 365 Enterprise administration

  • Strong experience managing hybrid environments combining on-prem infrastructure with Azure AD and Microsoft 365.

  • Experience with VMware vSphere administration (install, configure, manage).
  • Experience and strong understanding of enterprise networking: Routing, Switching, Wireless, DNS, and DHCP
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a range of regional and global teams.
  • Ability to escalate quickly and efficiently.
  • Several years of experience with multi-office international customers.
  • Customer focused, solution oriented, and fast learner.
  • Quality awareness, hands-on mentality, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in English.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe (up to 30%).

Nice To Have

  • Experience with VMware vSAN
  • Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication.
  • Experience with Cisco Routing, Switching, and Wireless
  • Certified in CCNA or other network certification.
  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification or equivalent knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in any other major European language.
