Accounting Specialist

in Warsaw, we are currently recruiting for the
Accounting Specialist
role to support
London Finance Team.

Accountant
role in a leading global law firm.

You will be responsible for:

Financial Operations & Reporting

• Supporting accounting advisors and managers with day-to-day finance activities and ad hoc analysis.
• Assisting with accurate recording of financial transactions and preparing simple variance reports.

Month-End & Year-End Processes

• Helping with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Preparing and posting journal entries and assisting with reconciliations and audit documentation.

Budgeting & Project Accounting

• Supporting the budgeting process, including gathering data and preparing basic reports.
• Assisting with accounting and reporting for global projects (e.g. project setup in SAP, tracking costs, preparing summaries).
• Helping maintain accurate financial records, including fixed assets and general ledgers.

Audit & Compliance Support

• Preparing supporting documents for audits and other financial reviews.
• Ensuring data is complete, accurate, and in line with company standards

Apply if you:

• Have
  1-2 years of experience
  in finance, accounting, or a similar area.
• Are curious, proactive, and eager to learn from experienced professionals.
• Feel comfortable working with numbers and data in
  Microsoft Excel
  .
• Are studying towards, or planning to start, an
  accounting qualification
  (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Have good
  English communication
  skills and enjoy working as part of a global team.
• Have used
  SAP
  or another finance system before (nice to have, but not required).
