Description
Main responsibility is to manage activities in the area of Logistics issue management relating to finish goods imports and distribution within the EMEA region.

Role expectations
Duties
Your team supports shipment process to many local countries in both core EU markets, as well as expansion markets in Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Many of these countries have complex logistical challenges. Logistics Specialist will need to work closely with internal and external partners to ensure good product flow into/out of each country maintaining an optimal logistics network in region. Your main duties as a Logistics Specialist will include:

  • Support of external and internal logistics partners and resolve any shipping / fulfillment / customs related issues
  • Support Logistics topics relating 3PL EMEA Warehouse including support for shipments of fulfillment and marketing materials to EMEA customers
  • Proactively communicate all shipment issues to owners and intended recipients
  • Reply to all e-mails involving fulfillment (specifically assigned) and provide resolution of the problems
  • Take emergency measures in cases of problems with carrier and doctor's material needs
  • Provide assistance and advice to Customer Support, Marketing, Finance related to any logistics topic
  • SLA ownership of the Salesforce Logistics ticketing queue
  • Represent Logistics during audits and inter-departmental projects
  • Preparation and distribution of Logistics reporting
  • Utilizing various analytical tools (Power BI, Intelligent Logistics, other) to perform logistics data analysis, interpret results, and present results to develop business cases.
  • Identify market trends to highlight their potential impact on Align's Supply Chain, enabling the business to proactively adapt to today's rapidly changing environment
  • Vendor management (vendor performance monitoring, issue management)

What We're Looking For
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

  • BA degree in a Supply Chain related field

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 2 to 5 years related experience in Logistics (preferred) or a Supply Chain related role

LANGUAGES

  • Advanced business English (C1) - this role is 90% English based
  • Another European language is a plus

SKILLS /COMPETENCIES

  • Good communication & administrative skills allowing to building effective relationship with suppliers
  • Detail oriented, driven, organized and focused
  • Quick learner with strong commitment
  • Customer focused
  • Be able to prioritize
  • Intermediate proficiency level in Microsoft Office pack (Excel, Word, Power Point)
