Your Responsibilities

  • Test Phoenix Contact products
  • Develop and maintain test plans and strategies for software and firmware
  • Create test cases, perform manual and automated testing, and document defects
  • Collaborate with the development team to analyse and resolve issues
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct regression testing
  • Generate detailed test reports and communicate results to stakeholders
  • Define testing guidelines in cooperation with HQ Laboratory
  • Expert support in the field of testing, for other members of the project team in Poland and Germany
  • Continuously enhance relevant skills
  • Development and rollout of laboratory test automation

Our Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree (Computer Science, Automation and Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related)
  • 3+ years of experience in Software/Firmware testing
  • Excellent written and spoken English (min. B2 level)
  • Knowledge in the use of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) tools
  • Knowledge in scripting for test automation.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to the company headquarters in Germany for training and project coordination

Optional

  • Knowledge in Threat Analysis
  • Expertise in various industry interfaces (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, etc.).
  • ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or comparable
  • German language skills
