We are looking for an EU Transport Manager to join our European Team in Poland to manage all transport operations for freight and parcel deliveries.
What is a day in the life of a EU Transport Manager?
- Manage all transport operations for freight and parcel deliveries, including marketplace and DTC carriers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency.
- Monitor and analyse carrier performance metrics, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Oversee budgeting and cost management for transport operations, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Ensure compliance with international customs requirements across a diverse range of product types.
- Utilize a deep understanding of European road freight networks and practices to optimise logistics strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and enhance logistics networks.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure best practices in transport management.
What will I need to thrive in this role?
- +5 years and proven experience in transport management, with a focus on international logistics.
- Fluent in English and Polish.
- In-depth knowledge of European road freight networks.
- Excellent knowledge of UK and European customs regulations and process.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of managing and refining logistics networks.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
- Experience with Amazon logistics is a plus.
