Senior Finance Specialist, General Ledger & Controlling Italian Speaker

Responsibilities

• Is responsible for accounting operations in GL area according to US GAAP
• Reconciliates balance accounts
• Prepares and posts journal entries
• Calculates and books Accruals & Prepaids
• Is responsible for Fixed Assets accounting
• Identifies and solves common cross-process (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury) issues
• Prepares financial statements according to US GAAP
• Supports internal & external audit
• Recommends and implements process improvements ideas

Desired Skills & Experience

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
• Strong SAP skills in modules FI and AA
• Previous experience in General Ledger
• In-deep knowledge of US GAAP
• English and Italian at very good level (C1)
• Excellent user knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Good problem-solving skills and cooperation attitude
• Being able to work within tight operational deadlines and priorities
• High degree of proactiveness and self-reliance
• Being experienced in working in a worldwide acting affiliated group
