Finance Analyst in Private Capital

Key responsibilities

  • Reviewing and analysing legal and transactional documentation related to private capital investments

  • Verifying ownership of fund investments and ensuring correct representation in internal systems

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of fund structures and investment activities

  • Performing regular controls and reconciliations to ensure data integrity

  • Cooperating closely with Fund Accounting / NAV teams, providing high-quality input for NAV calculations

  • Supporting annual and periodic reporting processes, including audit-related requests

  • Communicating with internal teams and external clients via email and video calls

  • Monitoring dedicated mailboxes and systems to ensure timely handling of inquiries and change requests

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and supporting their implementation

  • Actively collaborating with the team to share knowledge, resolve complex cases and meet deadlines

Requirements

  • Completed higher education degree (finance, economics, engineering or other relevant field)

  • Very strong Excel skills (daily use, data analysis, controls, reconciliations)

  • Good command of English (minimum B2 – written and spoken)

  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and switch between priorities

  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach

  • Sense of responsibility and ownership of assigned scope

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in finance, accounting, fund administration or middle office

  • Exposure to private capital, investment funds or financial services environment

  • Knowledge of additional languages (French or German is a plus)

  • Experience using automation tools or AI solutions to support data analysis and documentation review
