Role Summary

The Azure Integration Developer will play a critical role in our company's digital transformation journey as we migrate from on-premises BizTalk systems to native Azure Integration Services. This position is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing modern cloud-based integration solutions that will enhance our global helicopter operations and maintenance capabilities. The successful candidate will drive the modernization of our integration architecture while ensuring seamless connectivity across our aviation systems and business processes.

Azure Integration Developer

Workplace: Remote - Poland

Key Responsibilities

• Legacy System Migration: Lead the migration of existing BizTalk Server integrations to Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, and Event Grid
• Solution Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient integration solutions using Azure native services for helicopter operations, maintenance scheduling, and fleet management systems
• API Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices to connect aviation systems, maintenance databases, and operational platforms
• Data Integration: Develop ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory and Synapse Analytics to support real-time and batch data processing for flight operations and maintenance analytics
• Monitoring & Optimization: Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor and Application Insights to ensure high availability of mission-critical aviation systems
• Security Implementation: Apply Azure security best practices including managed identities, Key Vault integration, and network security to protect sensitive aviation data
• Documentation & Training: Create technical documentation, integration patterns, and provide knowledge transfer to support teams during the cloud transformation
• Collaboration: Work closely with aviation operations teams, maintenance engineers, and IT infrastructure teams to understand business requirements and deliver integrated solutions
• Performance Tuning: Optimize integration performance and costs while maintaining compliance with aviation industry standards and regulations

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

Required Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft BizTalk Server development and administration
  
  • 3+ years of experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Event Grid)
  
  • Proven track record of successfully migrating BizTalk integrations to Azure cloud platform
  
  • Strong experience with .NET development (C#), XML/JSON processing, and web services (SOAP/REST)
  
  • Knowledge of integration patterns, message routing, and enterprise service bus architectures
  
  

Technical Skills

• Expertise in Azure services: Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Event Grid, Azure Functions, Data Factory
  
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline development and version control
  
  • Experience with monitoring tools: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics
  
  • Knowledge of security frameworks: Azure Active Directory, Key Vault, managed identities
  
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (ARM templates, Terraform)
  
  • Understanding of message queuing, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous processing
  
  

Industry Knowledge

• Understanding of aviation operations, aircraft maintenance systems, and regulatory compliance (preferred)
  
  • Experience with ERP systems integration (Workday, Dynamics, AIMS, iSAR, Salesforce) commonly used in aviation industry
  
  • Knowledge of IoT solutions for aircraft telemetry and predictive maintenance systems

Location Requirements

• This is remote work position based anywhere in Poland working Monday through Friday
• Eligible to work in Poland (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
• Available for after-hours support and emergency response as needed
• Willing to travel within Poland for remote site visits (typically 15-20% travel)
