What you'll be doing:

As an IFRS Reporting Accountant, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for Avon's operations in Poland. You'll lead the monthly close process, manage IFRS adjustments, and support internal audits and compliance activities. This role is central to maintaining high-quality financial records and ensuring our reporting meets both internal and external standards. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement in our finance processes.

  • Ensure accurate, complete, and up-to-date accounting records in line with corporate requirements for the Lead Market
  • Lead the monthly close process and prepare financial reports, accruals, and IFRS submissions
  • Manage IFRS adjustments and ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support internal audits and ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal procedures
  • Prepare and submit IFRS-related filings in accordance with local and corporate requirements
  • Collaborate with finance, tax, and control teams to improve processes and share best practices
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality in reporting and accounting activities

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally within a multinational environment
  • A degree in Finance or Accounting; professional accounting certification is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and accounting systems
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and learning
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment and collaborating across teams
