The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Customs Specialist you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Preparing and completing the necessary data on import and export declaration in SAP and Huzar system.
• Checking with the broker and with the AP department the flow of customs duties for customs clearance
• Checking the correctness of documents, classifications and preferences during the preparation of import clearance
• Submission of documents to the Customs Office in order to obtain a deferred vat account
• Contacting the Customs Office for clarification of various ambiguities and submitting appropriate requests or corrections
• Maintaining statements with data for global metrics for all companies in Poland, imports, customs and tax payment data and broker invoice, monthly report for Vat deferred, monthly report for goods subject to CBAM, report with SENT deliveries
• Proactively filling data in SAP system
• Preparing for implementation of new ERP system
• Preparation of quarterly reports for CBAM goods using HuzarCBAM program and presentation of the finished report on the EU site for Poland.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher AND Transportation / Logistic/ Trade compliance

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• MS Excel at an intermediate level
• English – communicative level
• Polish - fluent
• Very good work organization and high personal culture
• Knowledge and updating of data in accordance to changing customs regulations in imports and exports
• Demonstrating initiative, self-reliance and the ability to multitask to meet priorities

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience in the field of logistics or customs
• Knowledge of SAP program
• Skills including: good at identifying problems, strong communication and execution skills, and a sense of responsibility.

Work location:

• Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to
  Wrocław at least 4 days per week after completing the onboarding process)

Travel: May include up to – 5%

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
