Currently, we are looking for a Database Administrator – PostGre to join our client's team.

Responsibilities:
  • Adhering to SLA and operational processes;
  • Handling tickets and troubleshooting technical issues;
  • Installation, configuration, and migration of PostgreSQL databases;
  • Ensuring service availability according to SLA;
  • Implementing new technologies and redundancy/failover strategies;
  • Monitoring and optimizing database performance;
  • Securing systems and encrypting data;
  • Designing and implementing backup strategies;
  • Automating software updates and patching;
  • Sharing best PostgreSQL practices with the team;
  • Diagnosing and resolving production issues.
Requirements:
  • Experience in programming with modern scripting languages (e.g., Ansible, Shell);
  • Database performance management, scaling, clustering, and optimization;
  • Administration of other RDBMS databases (MariaDB, MySQL, Percona, etc.) is a plus;
  • Quick learning of new database technologies supported by the team;
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and prioritization skills;
  • Ability to make technical decisions that bring business and customer value.
