Job Title: Chief Accountant
Job Location: Warsaw, Poland

Main Responsibilities:

• Interpret local accounting policies, identify changes in local accounting policies/presentation and disclosure requirements in a timely manner and transfer the changes to accounting personnel. Interpret and adapt local policies for new or changed business scenarios.
• Provide solutions or improvement suggestions for common or simple business scenarios, transactions, contracts, agreements, and analysis reports from the perspective of accounting policies of a single country or a region.
• Responsible for statutory audit requirement management, mutual trust environment building, audit procedure management, audit risk management, and audit report signing and filing management.
• Interprets the requirements of external regulators or stakeholders on financial report data, provides solutions, and provides data to external parties to ensure that financial report data is properly used and provided accurately.
• Analyze monthly reports, identify abnormal data and financial report issues, and track and resolve the issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, at least 5 years of accounting experience.
• International auditors or chief accountant in large enterprises working experience will be a plus.
• Familiar with Polish accounting standards and IFRS, accounting qualification certificate is preferred.
• Be proficient in using Microsoft Office software.
• Be proficient in English and Polish speaking and writing.
• Resistant to stress and capable to work with tight deadlines.
• Teamwork spirit.
• Motivated and have the ability to work across an international and multi-cultural team
• Work from the office in Warsaw
