We're hiring: Director of IT

We're seeking a
senior technology leader
to oversee IT operations, infrastructure, and applications across a complex, fast-moving organisation

This role combines
strategic vision
with
hands-on leadership
, managing people, processes, and technology at scale to drive operational excellence and innovation

Location: Remote / Hybrid (Europe-based)


Your mission

  • Lead multiple teams covering infrastructure, platforms, and application operations ensuring stability, security, and business continuity
  • Build a high-performing organisation focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Drive transformation initiatives across technology and process layers to enhance efficiency and service delivery
  • Develop and mentor leaders within the operations structure to strengthen long-term organisational capability
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to align IT services with business priorities and growth strategy
  • Oversee vendor partnerships, budgets, and governance frameworks to ensure cost-effective delivery
  • Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and excellence across all technical functions


You bring

  • 12+ years of professional experience in IT, including 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity
  • Proven success managing large, multidisciplinary teams (30–100+ people) across different technical domains
  • Strong understanding of enterprise-scale infrastructure, cloud, and applications operations
  • Experience driving operational transformation, process automation, or service excellence initiatives
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all organisational levels
  • Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage
