Description
New long-term project for an Energy client, where we will migrate Oracle DB to PostgreSQL.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of PostgreSQL DBA experience.
  • Proven experience with OCI and Exadata Cloud Service migrations.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools (OEM, Datadog, etc.).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Job responsibilities

  • Migrate Oracle databases to PostgreSQL.
  • Perform performance tuning, SQL optimization, AWR/ASH analysis, and proactive issue resolution.
  • Work closely with SRE/DevOps/Application teams for production support and incident handling.
