We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with strong Python skills to design, build, and maintain automation frameworks and pipelines that enable our QA and engineering teams to test backend services efficiently and reliably. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building scalable, maintainable automation infrastructure and writing automated tests for APIs, databases, and other system components.

You will work closely with QA, Developers, Product, and DevOps teams to design and implement automation frameworks and tests, including CI/CD integration, that ensure high quality, reliability, and comprehensive coverage across our products, enabling faster, more frequent, and confident releases.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend automation frameworks in Python for testing APIs (REST, GraphQL) and databases.
  • Create, execute, and maintain automated test suites, ensuring robust coverage for backend services.
  • Integrate automation frameworks and tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth execution across environments.
  • Generate and maintain reports to visualize test results and track quality trends over time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python, including Pytest.
  • Data experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, or similar.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining backend test automation frameworks.
  • Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions).
  • Strong experience with API automation (REST, GraphQL).
  • Experience with SQL (BigQuery is a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality deliverables.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Nice To Have

  • Experience in UI Automation using Playwright.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes technologies.
  • Experience working with GCP
