The Technology Specialist – Azure is a Data Engineer in the Connected Brewery Data Platform product team, responsible for designing, building, and operating real-time and batch data flows. The role requires driving solutions in multiple analytics use cases and projects, ensuring a reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient data platform.

Your Responsibilities Would Include

  • building and operating ingestion and transformation pipelines using Azure services
  • automating deployments, monitoring and alerting using Azure DevOps
  • collaborating with solution architects to ensure alignment with Heineken's standards and best practices (i.e. quality, architecture, compliance & security)
  • taking ownership of issues from diagnosis to resolution, driving continuous improvement.

You Are a Good Candidate If You Have

  • solid background in Azure event-driven services (Event Hubs, Event Grid, Functions, Logic Apps)
  • hands-on with data lakes and pipelines (Databricks, ADF, Synapse)
  • knowledge of governance frameworks and tools (Unity Catalog, RLS, data contracts, observability tools)
  • experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), and integration with analytics layers (e.g PowerBI)
  • strong problem ownership and analytical judgement
  • ability to collaborate across cultures and communicate technical concepts
  • proactive, ownership-driven mindset, able to support, and drive priorities
  • excellent English language.
