O2C Accountant
to join our team in Lodz, Poland.

THE OPPORTUNITY
O2C Accountant in Credit Management is responsible for the credit process, including the consistent application of Global Credit Standard, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers as well as making decisions regarding order releasing.

Core responsibilities:

• Managing a group of customer accounts to ensure credit risk is under controlled,
• Anticipation and resolution of queries on customer accounts,
• Minimizing doubtful debt by analysis customers' financials,
• Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers by preparing financial report
• Maintain accurate and up to date customer details and account records
• Make adjustments, handles queries and resolves problems within company guidelines and policy
• Anticipate developments and identify accounts that will require special attention
• Cooperate closely with Customer Service Team, Sales Account Managers and Finance Team to ensure all stakeholders are informed and aware about risks involved
• Prepare reports on order releasing and credit processes (on daily, weekly and monthly basis)
• Taking part in audit and Knowledge Management and assist in implementation of process improvements

Requirements:

• University degree in Finance and/or Accounting, or completion of a relevant course
• At least 2 years of related experience in Accounting and/or Finance roles, preferably AR/AP
• Languages: English min. B1/B2 is a must (both speaking and in writing); Polish: min. B1 level; Portuguese language will be an advantage
• Experience in SAP and Microsoft Office; (VBA skills, power Bi would be an asset)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills
