We're looking for an experienced Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you'll be responsible for end-to-end accounting processes, tax reporting support, and month-end closings. You'll work closely with both finance and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting activities related to the Polish and American entities
  • Record and reconcile cash accounts on a daily basis
  • Record, track and pay vendors through accounts payable
  • Record sales and purchase transactions in line with applicable accounting standards
  • Assist with receivables and receivable collections
  • Support the preparation of VAT, CIT, and PIT tax declarations
  • Take part in month-end and year-end closing activities (account reconciliations, accruals, prepayments)
  • Ensure accuracy of accounting entries following local regulations
  • Collaborate closely with the finance team and other departments to maintain data integrity
  • Support external/internal audit processes

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in an accounting role
  • Experience with the Polish accounting activities
  • Experience with NetSuite or any other accounting system - preferred, but not required
  • Advanced Excel skills and solid command of other MS Office tools
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including revenue recognition standards
  • Proven experience in preparing VAT returns
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
  • English and Polish proficiency at a B2 level or higher (written and spoken)
