Responsibilities

As the QA Tech Leader, you will lead and manage a team of Quality Assurance (QA) professionals. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services through effective QA processes, testing methodologies, and team coordination. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in QA, and a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of QA professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for the team, ensuring alignment with overall QA strategies and organizational goals.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.

Quality Assurance Processes:

  • Implement QA processes, methodologies, and best practices to ensure consistent and efficient testing.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to cover functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Establish quality metrics, performance indicators, and reporting mechanisms to measure and track QA effectiveness.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Test Planning and Execution:

  • Collaborate with project managers, development teams, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and scope.
  • Plan and prioritize testing activities, ensuring appropriate test coverage and resource allocation.
  • Execute test cases and coordinate with team members to ensure timely and accurate testing.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.

Test Automation:

  • Evaluate, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks, tools, and strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for test automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the team to create and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Monitor and analyze automated test results, report issues, and ensure their timely resolution.

Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and customer support, to understand quality requirements and expectations.

Communicate QA progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, project managers, and senior management effectively.

Participate in project meetings, providing QA insights, recommendations, and updates

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in quality assurance, with a strong background in software testing methodologies and practices.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing QA teams
  • Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, KPIs, Quality Assurance processes, and best practices related to quality assurance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or Six Sigma are desirable.
  • Experienced with Docker and Kubernetes tech (Be able to create a make image / run a container from specific image)
  • Profound understanding of test framework different layers of the test framework importance and meaning of each one. and their significance
  • Experienced work with Gradle and API testing tools
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Very good verbal and written English level

Great Advantage:

  • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or Six Sigma are desirable.
