Team/Role Overview

The Business Execution, Controls and Transformation Analyst will support Global Markets Treasury (MT) to design and deliver business and technical solutions on strategic business priorities / initiatives, controls and governance, and regulatory requirements specific to Markets Treasury globally.

The Business Management Analyst is an entry level position responsible for the overall administrative activities of the business. Tasks may include contribution to business continuity activities, data analytics, or support with business performance analysis. The Business Analyst may work on ad hoc projects as requested.

Markets Treasury is globally responsible for managing Citigroup's Bank liquidity outside of the US. Markets Treasury manages and hedges significant interest rate and liquidity risk arising from the bank chain balance sheet utilising a range of cash and derivative fixed income products, including a portfolio of high-quality fixed income securities. The business additionally engages in selected secured lending activity.

What you'll do

• Work in close partnership with Markets Treasury business in the countries and the global business execution managers to coordinate efforts and help ensure successful implementation of business projects related to internal and regulatory commitments, and other business initiatives

• Work in close partnership with control functions control functions such as Citi Treasury, Risk Chain, Controllers, Finance, and other supporting functions to set up appropriate governance and controls, including controls transformation

• Ensure a successful implementation of business projects related to internal and regulatory commitments, and other business initiatives

• Assist with coordination and production of materials for various management meetings, including staff meetings, town halls, monthly business reviews, and team off-sites

• Assist in activities such as the tracking of business financials, managing employee headcount or coordination of other administrative needs

• Provide support with analysis and feedback on relevant business issues

What we'll need from you

• 2-3 years of business analysis experience required

• Ability to conduct research/analysis, organize findings and build presentations

• Ability to manage deliverables within aggressive timeframes; ability to cope under time pressure

• Knowledge on Treasury products, Balance Sheet, Liquidity Management, and regulatory requirements preferred, but not required

• Strong PowerPoint, Excel and Data analytics skill

• Working knowledge of Citi is a plus
