In this role you will act as a proactive project manager for the fund events, in tandem with the respective Relationship Manager and/or Onboarding Manager.

You will also manage the timely implementation of real assets funds in Germany and Luxembourg in close cooperation with internal departments (Legal, Compliance, Accounting, Risk Management).

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination, processing of operational activities and harmonization of all client projects within new and existing real assets investment funds, including:
    Fund / segment launches, Asset manager/advisor changes, Change of custodian, Fund takeover from external AIFMs / transfer to external AIFMs
  • Creation of relevant fund documents, e.g. issuance documents or preparation of German fund documents ensuring the implementation of the customer specific requirements for the structure/funds.
  • Internal contact for all enquiries arising from day-to-day business relating to investment assets and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by responding quickly and competently to enquiries
  • Coordination and communication with external stakeholders (asset managers, advisors and investors), including negotiation of terms and agreements with external partners regarding fund structures, documentation, or service arrangements to ensure smooth information flow and timely project execution.
  • Coordination of documentation workflows within internal systems, including version control, approval processes (including Management of signature coordination for fund-related and contractual documents) and archiving.
  • Monitoring of project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, identifying operational risks.
  • Communication and coordination with BaFin (authorization procedures, outsourcing notifications, etc.), ensuring full regulatory compliance.

Required skills:

  • Bachelor or Master university degree (preferably in business administration, law finance, economics).
  • Proven work experience in the fund-setup and life cycle environment/management, preferably with focus on German and/or Luxembourg funds/fund structures, legal background/knowledge preferable.
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Project management skills – including excellent organizational abilities and structured working style.
  • Personal skills: strong sense of responsibility, high degree of reliability, organizational skills, focus on quality and deadline-oriented working in a dynamic and changing international environment.
  • Openness and readiness for new tasks.
  • Ability to work in a team, and ease in establishing business contacts with internal partners within the company.
