Senior Veeva Vault CRM Migration Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced and customer-focused Senior Veeva Vault CRM Migration Architect with a deep understanding of the life sciences industry. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader responsible for the end-to-end design and execution of complex Veeva CRM to Veeva Vault CRM migration project. The candidate is expected to significant experience in architecture and migration and overall extensive industry experience.

This role requires an individual who not only possesses an in-depth knowledge of Veeva's CRM solutions but also has the architectural foresight to design and integrate a wide range of peripheral systems, ensuring a seamless and compliant CRM platform transition for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Leadership: Act as the lead architect for Veeva Vault CRM migration projects, designing the overall solution landscape, including the target Veeva Vault CRM environment and its integrations.
• Customer-Facing Role: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, leading workshops, presentations, and technical discussions with senior-level stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into a technical strategy.
• Data & Content Migration Strategy: Develop and lead the comprehensive data and content migration strategy, including data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and validation, ensuring data integrity and quality throughout the process.
• Integration Expertise: Design and oversee the integration of Veeva Vault CRM with a variety of external systems, such as ERPs, data warehouses, master data management (MDM) platforms, and other third-party applications.
• Life Sciences Domain Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of commercial and medical operations within the life sciences sector, including sales force automation, marketing automation, and regulatory compliance.
• Technical & Solution Design: Create high-quality architectural documentation, including solution blueprints, data models, integration patterns (e.g., REST, SOAP, event-driven), and security controls.
• Risk & Change Management: Proactively identify technical risks and potential roadblocks related to the migration, developing mitigation strategies and communicating them effectively to project managers and stakeholders.
• System Health & Performance: Own the performance, scalability, and reliability of the migrated solution, conducting performance analysis and root cause analysis to ensure a robust and high-performing system.
• Veeva Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep and current knowledge of Veeva's product suite, including Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, and other Veeva Commercial Cloud applications.
• Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve migration processes, technical standards, and documentation practices, developing accelerators and best practices for future projects.
• User Adoption & Training: Support change management and user adoption activities, working with the project team to identify training needs and ensure a smooth transition for end-users.
• Problem-Solving: Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues and design elegant, scalable solutions that meet business needs.
• Technical Team Leadership: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and oversight to a project team of developers, business analysts, and consultants, ensuring the technical solution aligns with best practices and project objectives.
• Peripheral System Design: Architect and define the design for systems that will interact with or be impacted by the Veeva Vault CRM migration, including analytics platforms, reporting tools, and custom applications.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Have a working knowledge of DevOps principles and tools for a Veeva and Salesforce environment, including CI/CD pipelines to ensure repeatable and compliant deployments.
