Your New Role...
As a
Senior Manager – Studios Controllership EMEA
, you will lead and oversee general accounting controllership duties across selected territories for the Studios businesses. You'll be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and process optimization, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing offshore operations.

Your Role Accountabilities

• Lead the accounting close process, including by-title accounting, participation/film cost accounting, and support of third-party audits
• Ensure timely and accurate account reconciliations and balance sheet integrity
• Oversee compliance with SOX and internal controls
• Manage the Studios EMEA BPO offshore team and drive process improvements
• Act as point of contact for internal and external auditors
• Review and approve accruals and financial data uploads to SAP/BW
• Collaborate with FP&A, GBS, COE, and country-specific teams to support business decisions
• Support statutory filing processes across territories, including audits and local GAAP adjustments

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in accounting roles with strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX
• Proven experience managing accounting teams in a multinational environment
• BS/BA in Accounting; Master's degree and CPA/CA qualification preferred
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage remote teams/BPO providers
• Willingness to travel internationally occasionally
• Experience in filmed entertainment accounting is a plus

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
