Project Overview
Bechtel and Westinghouse Electric Company have partnered to deliver the first AP1000 nuclear power reactors in Poland for our customer, the Polish Entity Polskie Elektrownie Jadrowe (PEJ). Bechtel will be the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor for the project. As the EPC, our responsibilities will include providing the design for the Turbine Island and Balance of Plant as well as the construction of the entire facility. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity, and we are looking for the talent that will help expand Poland's nuclear base and build a strong and long-lasting energy future for generations to come. This position is subject to U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) regulations at 10 CFR Part 810 (Part 810), which govern the transfer of hardware, materials, and technology to support the construction and operation of commercial nuclear power plants overseas.

Job Summary

• Provides consultation and advice and participates in planning, developing, and implementing solutions to meet project supply chain automation requirements.
• Provides technical and administrative support, as well as implements, operates and assists Project offices and project users in utilizing the supply chain system application suite and associated systems.
• Participates in system administration including, but not limited to, project system set up and configuration, user training, systems data reporting and integration support of external data.
• Proactively monitors user operations and analyses and resolves operational, workflow, and/or data problems.
• Provides advice to users on correct usage of applications and associated workflows and conducts training classes as requested.

"This position is designated as full-time office with an opportunity for telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership"

Major Responsibilities
Supervision Received:

• Reports to and receives operational and functional supervision and direction from the Project Supply Chain Automation Lead and GBU DSCS Automation Manager.

Contacts

• Maintains active contact with the applications user community.
• Coordinates support and technical issues with the Supply Chain Automation Lead and GBU DSCS Automations Manager, and where necessary with the Corporate Supply Chains Systems group.
• Maintains contact with members in other business units or projects, using similar applications and processes in order to facilitate knowledge exchange and sharing of best-practices and lessons learned.

Job Responsibilities

• Participates with designated project implementation teams and personnel to determine and develop project automation requirements and objectives. This includes providing advice, guidance and recommendations.
• May participate in the formulation of new work proposals (as required), including the provision of detailed written scenarios, software demonstrations and oral presentations. Configures Supply Chain Systems software components, performs testing and provides ongoing technical support.
• Supports business unit and project personnel in the use of Supply Chain Systems applications, including any requirements involving set up and training.
• Organises, develops and performs classroom training, including input to the development of procedures and user desk instructions, including facilitating the maintenance and distribution of training materials and documentation related to Supply Chain Systems applications.
• Initiates requests for resolution of software application issues encountered during implementation and operations of Supply Chain Systems applications.
• Participates in business unit or project review bodies tasked with the establishment of standards and procedures for implementing Supply Chain applications.
• Communicates technical and detailed support requests to the Corporate Supply Chain Systems group, including analysis of process steps taken.
• Supports business unit and project specialised reporting requirements.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, in Supply Chain, Computing Science or Business Systems related fields is preferred and minimum 3 years' experience in supporting supply chain automation systems.

Required Knowledge And Skills

• Been assigned to a supply chain role such as purchasing, expediting, logistics, materials management or field procurement operations is an asset.
• Knowledge of and experience with Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Advanced knowledge and experience of enterprise-wide data processing operations
• Advanced knowledge of standard office productivity tools, including Microsoft Word, Power BI, Excel and Access, and including simple table, query, report and macro design.
• Proficient in Data Analysis Advanced knowledge of and experience using reporting tools such as PowerBl, SSRS, Power Query etc.
• Advanced knowledge of standard office productivity tools including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access, including simple table, query, report and design.
• Experience in analysing project application requirements and implementation based on analysis Experience in giving practical and technical presentations to medium and large audiences
• Skilled in oral communication and experience in giving practical and technical presentations to medium and large audiences.
• Knowledge of and experience in a different Supply Chain discipline (Supplier Management, Purchasing, Contracts, Expediting, Logistics, Materials Management and Field Procurement) is preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience with SiteSense and Oracle E-Business Suite of software is preferred
• A customer-service-oriented individual with a demonstrated professional demeanour and communication style.
• Strong planning, prioritization and organization skills.
• Fluent in Polish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills and experience in basic troubleshooting techniques
