Software Engineer

The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

What you'll achieve
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer's business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.

You will:

•Participate in the development and review of high-end production code for software/storage requirements and specifications

•Use defined software lifecycle methodologies

•Review and implement test strategies for software products

•Write unit tests and regression tests

•Triage and debug different issues found by testing and in customer cases

Essential Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field

•Good programming skills - experience in C and Python is a must

•Good knowledge in operating systems (multi-threaded programming, locks, scheduling)

•Ability to code/debug in a large and complicated code base

•Motivated to learn, grow and get inspired by new ideas

Desirable Requirements

•Experience with test driven design is a big advantage

•Good knowledge of Linux OS
