We are looking for a
Senior
Full‑stack Developer
to join the
Digital & Data Hub
in the
Jacobs Krakow office
and support the stabilization and further development of an acquired application. This person will play a key role in architectural decision‑making, leading development initiatives, and ensuring high‑quality implementation across the platform.

The project requires someone who is comfortable navigating complex technical environments, solving deep architectural problems, and mentoring team members during a major platform overhaul.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and enhancement of both frontend and backend components using Angular → TypeScript, and (TypeScript/JavaScript)
• Take ownership of critical stabilization efforts, identifying root causes of failures and designing long‑term solutions
• Drive the frontend rebuild into a maintainable, scalable TypeScript architecture
• Lead backend re‑architecture efforts to move away from monolithic components and improve system design (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions)
• Advocate and implement best practices for code quality, testing, performance, and security
• Design and implement efficient integrations with Firestore and guide improvements in data access patterns
• Bring engineering leadership into planning new features and enhancements for the post‑stabilization roadmap
• Collaborate closely with DevOps and cloud architects to shape a future‑proof cloud-native environment
• Mentor and support mid‑level developers, sharing knowledge and guiding implementation decisions

Here's what you'll need

• Min. 5 years of experience as a Full‑stack or Software Engineer working with modern web technologies
• Strong expertise in Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript, including large‑scale front‑end refactoring/migrations
• Advanced experience with and backend development in cloud or serverless environments
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture, ideally with Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and cloud‑native design patterns
• Proficiency working with NoSQL databases (Firestore preferred)
• Experience addressing architectural issues monolithic to modular transformation, reducing tight DB coupling, optimizing service communication, etc
• Ability to influence architecture, make technical decisions, and drive engineering standards
• Experience mentoring developers and contributing to technical leadership within a project
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to navigate ambiguity while driving solutions
