Event Capture

The Asset Servicing Senior Manager accomplishes results through the management of a large professional team or multiple teams. This role integrates subject matter and industry expertise within Corporate Action Asset Servicing, contributing to standards around which others will operate. The successful candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of how their area collectively integrates within the sub-function, as well as how it coordinates and contributes to the objectives of the global Event Capture function. Strong commercial awareness is required. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are necessary to guide, influence, and convince others, particularly colleagues in other areas and occasional external stakeholders. This role holds responsibility for the volume, quality, timeliness, and delivery of end results for its area. It also entails full management responsibility for a team or multiple teams, including short-term resource planning, performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations.

Responsibilities:

• This role will manage processing activities related to Corporate Action events such as revisions of communications and notifications for EMEA Corporate Action events
• Manages large professional team or multiple teams
• Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes recommendations for pay increases, hiring, terminations and other personnel actions
• Manage operational, technology, and business initiatives and projects, including financial aspects
• Monitor project status and communicate effectively to key stakeholder project members, of any associated risks to the project
• Manage and communicate strategic timeliness and deliverables to all members of the team
• Manage senior management presentations, conference calls and projects
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years of experience
• Senior level experience in a related role with commensurate experience in people management
• Build key relationships within all levels of the organization
• Experience in management with Banking and Financial Institutions
• Proven experience in managing and developing teams
• Demonstrated ability to translate global strategic goals and procedures into actionable plan
• Demonstrated understanding of industry
