BI Developer with Snowflake

We are looking for  a BI Developer with Snowflake – Join a creative, people-first Data Team

Join a well-established, people-focused team where your input is valued and your ideas directly shape real solutions. You'll be working in a 6-person BI team (supported by a Scrum Master), with colleagues on different experience levels, which ensures both knowledge sharing and space for growth. The project is delivered for a Swedish client in the manufacturing sector (Procurement area), on a long-term contract – complex and dynamic, but highly rewarding. You'll gain end-to-end responsibility across both backend (data engineering, ETL) and frontend (Power BI), always supported by the rest of the team.

We use modern technologies such as Snowflake, Matillion, and Power BI. The work is intensive and challenging, but also an excellent opportunity to expand your expertise in a collaborative environment. We would really appreciate it if you could start immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and develop data warehouses based on Snowflake;
• Design, build, and optimize ETL/ELT processes in Matillion (not only table editing but also full workflow creation);
• Integrate data from various sources (databases, APIs, files);
• Develop insightful reports and dashboards in Power BI;
• Maintain and evolve existing BI solutions with a focus on performance and scalability;
• Collaborate closely with team members, project teams, and business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements;
• Support data migration from legacy systems (e.g., Oracle, SSIS) to Snowflake;
• Ensure high-quality technical and business documentation;
• Implement best practices for data management, security, and version control;

We offer B2B: 110 – 140 PLN net/hour + VAT

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

• At least 2 years' experience in a BI Developer role (we also welcome more experienced professionals);
• Proven experience with Snowflake – including building processes, creating tables, views, and workflows;
• Strong skills in Power BI, with ability to design and deliver advanced dashboards;
• Eagerness to work as a full-stack BI Developer (backend + frontend ownership);
• Proactive and creative mindset, with the ability to drive improvements and explain complex solutions to both technical and business users;
• Strong documentation skills and a knack for business analysis.
• Strong English skills (C1 level – daily communication with international stakeholders);
• Location in Poland to facilitate collaboration and attendance at occasional team meetings.

Moreover, we appreciate skills in these areas:

• Availability to start work immediately.
• Hands-on experience with Matillion in ETL/ELT process development;
• Knowledge of Oracle (useful for migration to Snowflake);
• Familiarity with SSAS/SSIS/SSRS;
• Experience with Visual Studio;
• Understanding of version control concepts (branching, merging, pushing; Git integrated with Matillion);
• Background in procurement, supply chain, or business data analysis;
• Experience working in Agile teams.
