THE ROLE:

IT Business Lead works closely with representatives of various business departments to understand their needs and challenges, translates business requirements into technological solutions by implementing and a comprehensive central IT strategy of Astara and Astara's dealer network. This to suit business demands and to support the business goals of the organization and contribute to its growth

MAIN FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work closely with representatives of various business departments to understand their needs and challenges.

Translate business requirements into technological solutions.

Developing technological strategies:

Create and develop a comprehensive IT strategy to suit business demands.

Support the business goals of the organization and contribute to its growth.

Ensure change management, plan IT development taking into account corporate

requirements and standards

Implementing improvements in business process support between Astara and the dealer network, including the necessary system integrations

IT project management:

Oversee the implementation of technological projects.

Ensure they meet business requirements and deliver added value to the organization.

Ensure constant communication between the IT and business departments.

Negotiate with solution providers.

Ensuring alignment of initiatives with the corporate IT department's guidelines

Supporting the resolution of system errors reported by local business units, in

cooperation with the central support team

Managing IT budget:

Forecast required projects and plan their budgets.

Manage the current IT budget, optimize costs.

Managing IT infrastructure:

Maintain IT structure to effectively support company business processes.

Develop the infrastructure in accordance with the guidelines and standards of the corporation.

Maintain and develop local IT solutions.

Managing the dealer network's access to central and local IT solutions

Execute central approach by replacing local solutions with central ones

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5 years work experience
• Experience in the planning, management and development of a variety of projects and solutions
• Experience in automotive sector (importers, dealerships or IT suppliers for automotive) would be and asset

• Expert technical knowledge in the field of information technology, including operating systems, computer networks, databases, cloud computing, and modern IT tools and solutions.

• SAP knowledge / experience required

• Knowledge of Salesforce / dealer DMS

• ERP systems would be an asset
