We are looking for you, if you:

  • have experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms,
  • have hands-on experience with OpenShift,
  • are familiar with object-based storage solutions, especially MinIO,
  • understand DevOps principles and practices,
  • have experience with block-based storage and want to expand into object-based storage,
  • are comfortable working in a dynamic, cloud-native environment,
  • can build integrations across infrastructure systems to support end-to-end customer journeys,
  • are able to document features and processes clearly and present them in internal forums.

English level: B2/C1

You'll get extra points for:

  • experience with Portworx or similar storage platforms,
  • knowledge of Amazon S3 or similar object storage services,
  • familiarity with automation and testing of platform processes,
  • experience with cloud-native monitoring and logging tools,
  • ability to collaborate across teams and tribes.

Your responsibilities:

  • build and maintain an object storage platform on top of Kubernetes,
  • expand existing block-based storage capabilities to include object-based storage as a service,
  • work closely with the team managing OpenShift and Portworx platforms,
  • develop and refine product backlog features for current and new platforms,
  • automate platform processes and test integrations,
  • document features and processes and present them in Cloud Roadshows,
  • collaborate with other teams to understand needs and drive adoption of best practices,
  • support internal customers and troubleshoot critical production issues,
  • contribute to platform architecture, documentation, and internal tooling,
  • carry out production deployments and optimize infrastructure,
  • provide 24x7 coverage (weekends and evenings) for standby duty on a rotational basis.

We are a diverse team of young and experienced engineers located in Poland. Our mission is to build scalable, reliable, and secure cloud storage solutions. We manage existing Kubernetes clusters and are expanding our capabilities to offer object-based storage as a service. Think of this as building Amazon S3 for the bank.
 The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be "Engineer IV".
