We're seeking a highly skilled Big Data Engineer to design and build critical financial technology solutions. This role is central to developing a tool that empowers financial advisors to manage client opportunities based on defined business rules.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy Spark-based solutions for cleaning, transforming, and analyzing vast amounts of raw data. This includes working with Spark Streaming and applying Machine Learning techniques within the AWS environment.
  • Develop and design robust Java APIs, leveraging your deep experience with:
  • Utilize AWS SDK for Java to write code for deploying implemented services and manage data transfer from on-premises systems to the AWS cloud.
  • Write and optimize database queries for both Relational and Non-Relational Databases.

Requirements

  • Primary Skills: Spark (with Java/Python), Java, AWS SDK (Java)
  • Frameworks/Tools: Java 8+, REST API, MQ, Spring JPA, Hibernate, Distributed Caching.
  • Cloud: AWS platform.

Nice to have
Prior experience in the Fintech industry.
