Frontend Engineer

We are now looking for a
Frontend Engineer
who can help us to continuously improve Volue's ability to provide value to customers in line with the Volue mission.

Join our greenfield initiative at the intersection of energy and technology We are building a cutting-edge software platform that bridges the gap between optimization systems and trading software, enabling smarter, faster decisions in the energy market. You will be part of a cross-country team shaping the architecture from the ground up, with full ownership and room to innovate.

What you will be doing to make a difference:

• Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, back-end developers and product owners to implement new features.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
• Shape best practices and drive impactful engineering change.

What you need to succeed:

• 3+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on React and it's ecosystem.
• Proficiency in web technologies: TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience at working with RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with modern front-end development tooling, including but not limited to bundling, linting, testing.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Special interests in design-systems, high level of design/UX taste, knowledge of a11y patterns is an advantage.
• Technical English proficiency, written and spoken
• Bachelor/Master's degree in Software Development or similar competence level
• Ability to collaborate across teams, locations and cultures
• Will to learn business domain
