Master Data Governance Manager for Product and Material Domain

Run what runs the world.This Position reports to:IS Service Owner, Master DataYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to manage the creation, update, maintenance, deletion, and delivery of master data while ensuring that it is consistent and trustworthy. Each day, you will provide support for master data management processes. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in programs to optimize business functions through data driven insights.The work model for the role is: hybridThis role is contributing to the Global Master Data organization, part of Core IS. Main stakeholders are Data Managers and Product Owners.You will be mainly accountable for:Define Data standards, rules for Products and Materials across ABBRepresent Product and Material Domain in the meetings with the Business and CountriesSet KPIs for Product and Material data and help organization to reach the targetCreate and maintain data standards, naming conventions, and classification rulesLead root cause analysis and remediation of data quality issues. Coordinate data quality activities, define policies and strategiesOwn and approve some of Product and Material processesOwn and lead Master Data trainings for Product and Material domain and ensure that it is properly revised and followed, ensure that right people will be certifiedSupport Product and Material Domain Owner within driving the domainCoordinates activities among the Product and Material domain, especially projects, data connections, governances etc.Ensure that Product and Material data is properly set, defined and consumed within ABBSupport systems and data integrationsIdentify and mitigate data-related risksSupport Data Literacy activities by sharing Product and Material knowledge and training materialsSupport Data Governance activities and align with Governance ManagerBe pro-active in initiatives driven by the teamDevelop and maintain a metadata catalog for Products and Materials,Ensure compliance of Product and Material data with export control, environmental regulation, and lead data audits with ComplianceTake ownership of consolidating master data requirements from ABB Businesses to help design solutions across existing applications and business organizations to ensure global applicability and compliance with external and internal standards.Understand applicable external standards to ensure ABB compliance in solution design.
