Mercer Brokerage Sales Team is seeking for a motivated, sales oriented and proactive professionals for the following position based in Warsaw office:

Business Development Manager

Employee Benefits / Group Life Insurance / Medical Plans, Brokerage Sales Team

What can you expect?

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for sales process from start to finish, ensuring service quality and general transactional satisfaction. This also include responsibility for the sales activity and prospect pipeline concerning Mercerâs products such as employee's life insurance, medical plans and other benefits.

We will rely on you to:

  • Be responsible for the sales activity and prospect pipeline in the assigned area
  • Research effectively various resources and channels to identify or understand prospect accounts or target sales expansion opportunities
  • Discuss and assess clients' current and future employee benefits (life insurance, medical plans and other) needs
  • Develop and maintain excellent stakeholder and vendor relationships
  • Contribute towards the Companyâs profit objectives
  • Conduct sales presentations and cold/warm calls
  • Develop complex and effective sales proposals and sales presentations for prospect accounts
  • Belong to various professional organizations and professional network to benefit and represent the business
  • Participate in sales training events and other professional development courses
  • Advise clients on market trends


What You need to have:

  • A proven track of records (min. 3 years) in sales of insurance / employee benefits products
  • Strong experience in a business to business new sales origination and execution role, ideally selling complex, long-cycle solutions to stakeholders in the HR
  • MA or BA degree
  • Brokerage exam passed or to pass this year/ early next year
  • Excellent sales and presentation skills and client focus approach
  • Skill in maintaining relationships with the clients and business partners
  • Ability to recognize opportunities to effectively acquire prospects
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in English (B2 level min.) and native Polish speaker
  • Proficiency in MS Office and general computer literacy
  • Willingness to travel in business and driving license
