For our Client, international provider of telecommunication services, to a newly established SSC we are looking for:

Group Finance Manager
Location: Warsaw
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Lead the Finance Operations team and oversee Accounting and Consolidation tasks for including all legal entities. The Group Finance Manager is responsible for the Finance Operations team located in Warsaw and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, consolidation of financial data and adherence and compliance to accounting standards.
  • Oversee the production of financial reporting and ensure the accuracy and efficiency in key transactional, accounting, and consolidation activities for all legal entities within Group, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), general accounting, financial reporting, and consolidation.
  • Financial reporting and consolidation:  manage the consolidation in compliance with regulatory requirements (IFRS) and standard financial reporting to Group and Management
  • Build the department as one team by developing efficient communication within the department and with other Finance teams such as the Business Performance team.
  • Be a driving force in accelerating Finance transformation and ensure focus on automating transactional processes. Optimizing the use of the ERP and other tools where appropriate
  • Support external audit activities by coordinating the information requirements
  • Collaborate with other departments ensuring continuous improvements on process from an end-to-end perspective (O2C, P2P)
  • Interact and support the FP&A team and Group stakeholders with timely and accurate financial information and analysis
 
Experience:
 
  • Bachelor/Master degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or relevant professional certification preferred
  • Proven experience min 8-10 years in a senior strategic finance role, with focus on Consolidation and Accounting, preferably in a Shared services environment
  • Proven experience from leading a team
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and experience with consolidated financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
