Finance Manager

What this job involves:

The key objectives for this role are:

This role is Client facing and requires excellent Client Partnering skills. Whilst also providing Finance Business Partnering to JLL Leadership & Management teams. Lead Contract Change Control process Provide timely and accurate Client Spend Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting Manage Financial Risks and Opportunities Effective Cash Flow Management with focus on Debt Collection and Vendor Payments Drive Change & Transformation to optimise efficiency of the Finance function Deliver best-practice and world class performance within the wider client's Finance Team with focus especially on key account KPI’s and objectives.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Business Partnering:

Regular contact with the client's CRE team reporting on Financial Performance, managing Change Control, Accounts Receivable & Unbilled Revenue and various tasks / projects. Also assist with our client's annual budget process (FRP) Presentation of Finance Performance to JLL Leaders & Managers and Global Finance Engagement with JLL Leaders & Management to ensure their Ownership & Input into: Budgeting & Forecasting Process; Effective Risk and Opportunity Management (including the tracking of Savings Opportunities); Timely Contract Change Control; Accounts Receivable & Purchase to Pay process Provide Financial support on adhoc tasks Be a subject matter expert on the Financial / Commercial aspects of the Managed Services Agreement (MSA). Be able to provided clarification and training to key stakeholders as required Provide leadership and direction to the Client Services Finance Team based in Poland Key support role to EMEA Finance Director Ensure robust process in place for effective commercial management of key Vendor Partners

Client Spend & Corporate Reporting

Involvement in Month End Close (MEC) review process with Management Accounts team to help drive accuracy and understanding of financial performance. Prepare monthly Variance Commentary in support of JLL and the client reporting processes Responsible for the Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecasts. Ensuring a deep understanding of the cost base, its key drivers and impacts of change control Understand Financial performance against budget and provide monthly commentary on variance and key trends. Provide adhoc analysis as required Balance Sheet and P&L reporting  Ensure data integrity of the balance sheet  Ensure accurate and timely cash flow completion  Ensure robust financial controls in place including Cash Reconciliations, all Balance sheet reconciliations & compliance with SOX reporting 

Other Key Focus Areas

Pro-actively encourage process change and transformation to optimise the efficiency of the Finance function Contribution to Global clients Finance community initiatives/projects. Sharing best practice within regions and standardising processes. Financial Support for any system changes or new system roll out

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

Good Interpersonal Skills Excellent communication skills and confident presenting to Senior Management Team player and flexible, focused on the best outcome for all. Self-motivated and a positive “can-do” attitude Customer service orientated. Demonstrated financial competency at both a strategic & detailed level of operation. Strong organisational skills. Self-supporting and diligent. Deliver tight deadlines. Ability to learn quickly, and desire to develop. Proactive in resolving problems. Ability to provide leadership to more junior team members. Good Microsoft Office knowledge, particularly Excel. 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position (working with international teams and clients)  Client Business Partnering Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting. Experience of working with International Entities. Previous experience of EMEA region preferred. Excellent English language skills.
