The Industrial Fire team is expanding as we transition to Sentinel Capital Partners in Q3 2024 and pursue a robust global growth strategy. ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are in search of a skilled Atlassian Administrator to manage the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our Atlassian suite, encompassing Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and related tools.

As an Atlassian Administrator, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs, customize workflows, implement plugins, and ensure smooth operation of these tools. Your responsibilities will include identifying enhancements, offering innovative solutions, troubleshooting issues, providing technical support, and implementing best practices for Atlassian tool usage.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a profound understanding of Atlassian toolset administration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer, configure, and back all integrations and modifications to Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and other Atlassian tools utilizing Atlassian's REST API.
  • Design and manage Jira schemes for permissions, custom workflows, fields, screens, notifications, and issue level permissions that align with the organization's SDLC standards.
  • Create and maintain custom dashboards, filters, and boards in Jira using third-party add-ons like Rich Filters.
  • Utilize Atlassian's Command Line Interface (CLI) in conjunction with Jira CLI, Confluence CLI, and Bitbucket CLI.
  • Integrate third-party tools with Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Support teams with release management efforts and automate releases and related deliverables.
  • Develop custom macros in Confluence, create custom hook scripts in Bitbucket, and work with Jira workflow automation tools.
  • Administer and oversee the use of Jira portfolio/roadmaps for plan and program creation and management.
  • Champion best practices for Atlassian tool utilization.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, overseeing upgrades for Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
  • Guide users unfamiliar with Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence to establish best practices for process improvement and data governance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on requirements gathering and process enhancements for configuration changes.
  • Create and update detailed technical and user documentation.
  • Help organize and maintain data within Atlassian tools.
  • Resolve issues and provide proactive identification of enhancements and innovative solutions to support organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with IT to define, maintain, and monitor Atlassian suite infrastructure and user management.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Atlassian management.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

  • Experience in migrating from on-premises to Atlassian Cloud.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, Agile methodologies, and SDLC.
  • Solid understanding of workflow customization, schemes, user management, and access controls.
  • Experience in plugin management, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in working with Atlassian SDK and API framework.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and JQL queries.
