For our Romanian asset portfolio, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Technical Asset Manager, specialized in the operation and maintenance of renewable energy projects. In this role, you will be located in Romania and responsible for the technical asset management of our wind farm Ruginoasa (60MW) and solar farm Glodeni (51,8MW). The role will involve monitoring and management of all asset O&M activities and close cooperation with the relevant stakeholders like service providers and local authorities.

The technical asset manager is responsible for the safe and reliable operation of the assets and compliance towards the local rules and regulations. The technical asset manager shall act as the owner representative towards the service providers and monitor the performance of the contracted services regarding the Asset management, O&M of WTG's, Substation, BOP and other outsourced services. The Technical asset manager shall monitor the performance KPI's of the assets (HSE,quality, production, availability etc) and provide the performance reporting of the assets to the operations center in Warsaw. The asset manager shall closely work together with the operation team in Warsaw and reports to the head of operations. Location for the role is in Warsaw or Bucharest.

What you will do:

  • Monitoring of technical operational KPI's (HSE, quality, availability, production etc) and follow up towards relevant service providers in case of nonperformance or non-conformities and implementation of performance & safety improvements.
  • Monitor project compliance regarding local rules and regulations and relevant reporting obligations.
  • Act as contact person towards local authorities and emergency services.
  • Performing of local site visits and evaluation of quality and safety performance.
  • Act as Client representative towards the different service providers and have regular progress meetings with key service providers (Vestas, Monsson etc).
  • Monitor performance of O&M contracted services and management of all service contracts (Asset management, BOP, WTG, dispatch, others like snow removal, communications, roads maintenance, met masts , etc..)
  • Act on behalf of energy producer on implementation of curtailments orders and monitoring of mandatory reporting towards TSO/DSO.
  • Defining and reporting on performance KPIs, and approval of monthly availability with Vestas
  • Work in close relation with the operations team in Warsaw.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders for companies under supervision, and coordinate with relevant departments where needed.
  • Provision of necessary inputs towards the finance team regarding OPEX. Help creating the budget for operational expenses; follow up approved OPEX budget
  • Collaborate with development team and provide technical expertise for projects under development, if needed.

What you bring

  • +5 year experience in asset management and operation and maintenance of wind and solar assets.
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant local stakeholders and associated local rules and regulations related to the operation of wind and solar assets in Romania.
  • Experienced in contract management and management of service providers.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex operational data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of/good network in the renewable energy sector is an added value.
  • Self-starter "whatever-it-takes" attitude, team player, flexible.
  • Being able to speak and write fluently Romanian and English language.
  • Has a valid driver's license.
