Are you a seasoned financial crime professional with a passion for safeguarding the financial system? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your expertise can make a real difference?

Our client is a leading payments business, committed to providing secure and innovative financial solutions. As financial crime continues to evolve, our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Crime Analyst (6+ years) to join our remote team. In this critical role, you'll play a key part in their efforts to prevent financial crime, ensuring compliance with regulations and safeguarding the business and customers. Suitable caniddates will have experience in payments or a financial services environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze transactions, identify suspicious activity that may indicate money laundering or terrorist financing, and investigate potential financial crime.
  • Support Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Transaction Monitoring (TM) teams in mitigating financial crime risks (AML/CTF). Experience with other financial crime prevention areas like fraud is a plus.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of relevant financial crime regulations and ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging financial crime trends and adapt your analysis accordingly.
  • Provide support for the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) during absences or periods of high workload & support communication with the regulator, KNF.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in Financial Crime Prevention operations, with a strong understanding of CDD (AML/CTF) and Transaction Monitoring principles.
  • Experience in a payments or financial services environment is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in Polish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Please note that fluency in Polish and English is a requirement for this role.

Commutable distance to Warsaw is necessary for occasional meetings and training sessions.
