Omni Calculator is a Polish tech company that helps solve real-life problems using science, numbers, and equations, thus making rational decisions. Our main product, the web application , contains over 3600 custom-built calculators co-created by experts in various fields of science. It is visited over 20 million times a month. Media outlets such as The New York Times, National Geographic, The Guardian, and The Washington Post featured our calculators.

Role overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented multitasker eager to kickstart a career in marketing. As our Junior Marketing and Digital PR Project Manager, you'll provide crucial support in campaign coordination, content creation, and other marketing-related tasks. Your role will involve prospecting journalists, managing outsourced database builders, and ensuring our outreach efforts are streamlined.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute Digital PR strategies to gain high-quality links and increase Omni Calculator's media visibility.
  • Own responsibility for developing campaign ideas and coordinating the idea-generation process within the campaign team
  • Create, maintain, and segment comprehensive databases of journalistic contacts (prospecting) that will lead to valuable coverage and links.
  • Monitor and analyze current media trends to identify great opportunities for coverage.
  • Work with the outreach specialist to monitor and gather do-follow links and mentions for Omni Calculator on the web, building up our position and increasing traffic to the website.
  • Assist the head of marketing in various marketing tasks, including campaign coordination, content creation support, and other related duties.
  • Continuously improve processes and outcomes through analysis.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of developing digital PR campaigns aimed at securing high-quality backlinks.
  • Be able to anticipate potential challenges, identify opportunities, and develop proactive strategies to achieve objectives.
  • Knowledge of conducting market research and scenario planning to inform decision-making for campaigns
  • Organizational and communication skills for coordinating campaigns and ensuring deliverables are met on time.
  • Experience in using data to make informed decisions that will drive strategies.
  • Able to maintain orderliness in tasks, information, and resources.
  • Have an excellent command of the English language (at least C1 level, both speaking and writing).
  • Due to GDPR, you must be located in the EU.

Nice to have:

  • A "journalistic" eye - you can tell what topics catch on and can identify popular trends across media with ease
  • Some experience in coordinating projects

Employment terms:

  • Contract type of your choosing - B2B or Contract of Employment
  • Salary: net Euro B2B or gross Euro CoE
  • Work equipment such as a laptop or headphones
  • Flexible working schedule, fully remote or hybrid, with the possibility of working from our office location in Poland: Mikołajska St. in Kraków

Recruitment process:

  • An introduction call with the recruiter where you will learn more about the position minutes)
  • Task to evaluate your product and role knowledge (the case should not take more than 2-3 hours of work. You will have five days to send back your assignment)
  • Task follow-up + role-related interview with our Senior Product Designer and Dev Team Leader (90 minutes)
  • Cognitive Ability and Culture Fit Interview with our COO and Head of HR (90 minutes)
  • Finally, we may ask for references from your previous employers.
